I used Flash to create movies at maximum size and capture those in the browser using a screenshot tool that captures the whole page, not just the visible part. That way I aimed for high quality output to have it printed on photo-paper. It worked well and resulted in several nice photo-prints.
The movie itself is just extensive use of attachMovie and rotation of simple drawn shapes. Here are some shots:

very interesting.
reminds me of the famous cigar plant, it has long, tube-like flowers that are brilliant orange, yellow, and black, like burning cigarettes.
